I did speak to one of their operatives & he was asking a lot of questions which I refused to answer. He wanted to make an appointment for an advisor to visit & reckons I could save £21000 on my mortgage over the next 15 years. Told him if he could pay off my remaining mortgage then I would listen. Didn t get to find out who is was. Usually my phone comes up with potential scam but nothing.
SCAM automated message, pretending to be BT, saying suspicious activity on phone line and internet, press one to speak to executive to solve situation. Didn't.. and hung up.
Caller identified herself as Julie Smith from Signet Advice (as far as I could tell with some background noise). Said she d been informed I was recently injured in a car accident that wasn t my fault. I asked her how she knew that. She replied that she was sorry to bother me and would remove my phone number from their database and hung up on me without pausing for breath. Pond scum. (My number is registered with TPS and I can t stand talking to idiots so I ve reported them)

SCAM A recorded message said I was being investigated for tax fraud and a criminal case was being made against me. All my tax affairs are completely in order. I was instructed to press one to find out more which of course I ignored. I am extremely angry about this call which was quite upsetting - when life is difficult enough at the moment.
