This number called me on 28.04.23. Supposedly, a message from my bank to inform that my debit card had been used for suspicious purchases. To cancel the 2 transactions and speak to an agent press 1, which I did. A woman with a very strong foreign accent requested my name, date of birth and address in order to make the cancellation. She then asked for my card sort code, which rang alarm bells. I told her that if she was calling from my bank she should already know that and I would ring them. She hung up.
Silent call. Received a call from (07458 148209) on my mobile, although very few people know my mobile number. When I managed to answer there was nothing to be heard from the caller's end so I assumed it was some dodgy scammer. Someone on another site like this reported the caller to be an annoying or aggressive salesman from "Go-Assist" - this makes sense as I'd contacted them online about repairing a household appliance, decided their prices were far too high and deleted all their emails. Information The caller offered a free inspection of the nature of loft insulation claiming that some types of insulation were hazardous. I declined the offer.
SCAM As soon as I answered a recorded message started that two withdrawls had been made from a bank account. No name of bank, name of holder, card number etc etc. This is a scam and is the same recording as several other calls I have received.

Caller definitely had a "British" accent (though I know there isn't just one - he was definitely a native English speaker though) but really didn't annunciate when he was speaking so I struggled to understand him. He backtracked several times when I called him out on what he was saying. Was rude, dismissive and persistent despite me keeping saying I was not interested in talking with him about my life insurance - all in all a pretty horrible experience

Getting calls everyday from this number. It is the usual fly by night Indian sales nonsense. When I asked them to stop calling I got a call from a different number - when I answered a voice just said “f*** you*.

As of writing, 3 different numbers tried to call me today (020 8956 2943, 020 8956 2230 and 020 8956 2601). They all start with 020, I don’t know anyone who owns those numbers, maybe the same individual is using different numbers to call me. Likely a fraud and now it’s harassing.
