SCAM: I've probably received about 600+ calls from these people over the years. Indian call centre, claims to be from some official sounding company like UK energy services. They want a meter reading and your details to apply for government grants.

Then the usual Press 1 to cancel, 2 to speak to an advisor I did some checking and there is NO claims being made and the Phone Number has only been issued today, 5th April

SCAM text saying that Simon could not deliver parcel from the Post Office and could I fill in my details. I filled in a pile of crap and they only stopped me going further this time because they cannot count and apparently I am in London...news to me. The call came from Manchester yet again probably rerouted from a call centre abroad. I have blocked the number as always.

Some nonsense about the care/warranty package for my tv, cooker and washing machine. Asked for company name and gave me two different names. Then when he asked for the year I was born, I told him 1900 and he hung up. The bloke on the other end was really thick and gullible and I hope his wife leaves him and his mother sleeps with his best friend

SCAM This number was the first of three (others were 0208 888 7676 and 01782 254545) which I received on 17th and 18th July 2023, telling me I had security problems with users accessing my computer files. They asked for an entry fee to get our bank card number, took the entry fee then 3 days later took more money.
