I researched the number but could not find a legitimate index entry, so I conclude it is a scam and not to be trusted at all. Potentially dangerous. Received a text from this number, claiming to be from Evri (the new name for Hermes), saying they'd missed a delivery, and wanted £1.45 for redelivery. I googled Evri and and according to them it's a scam, to get your bank details and Mt your account.

Automated call to say suspicious transactions on my MasterCard and to press a certain number to stop them. I don't have a MasterCard.

This number called my 90 year old mother posing as the fraud department from the Bank of Scotland. He said 2 lots of money had left her account and they were chasing this up. Thankfully she phoned the bank and it was confirmed that these transactions had not happened. It was a scam, I think to get her personal details, not any account numbers - perhaps identity theft. He phoned her again today apologising for not phoning back yesterday but my mum was very blunt with her replies and he hung up.
