This number called with message about "every house needs to be done by 2016" plus "we are in your area" last week - some solar panel scam. Didn t answer - the message is recorded on my answerphone. Same message from 01316483485 yesterday - same result. This lot have probably rented fake numbers from a major phone company which offers them on its web site. Some firms offer call centres numbers which give the person called the idea that it is a local call.

Called today, phone ID said Redruth Cornwall, however missed text message showed 01513759551 (Liverpool no in keeping with other comments). Blocked the number.

Phishing re broadband performance problems. Played dumb until he got fed up and hing up. Told BT, who noted the number. These people must think we are all thick as.....
They have phoned 11 times over two days. Some finance company. I ve given them 9 due to the number of calls they have made.
No idea who it was. Very noisy and poor line. Sounded like they were in a wind tunnel playing the maracas. Think it might have been a call trying to sell a mobile phone contract.

THEY PHONED MY SHOP TODAY SAYING THEY WERE FROM METERING DEPARTMENT AND MY GAS METER WAS GIVING FALSE READING OF OVER £6000, THEY WANTED TO SEND AN ENGINEER TO CHECK IT BUT NEEDED MY CONTRACT NUMBER. Called my mobile and then landline number and a man with a Liverpool accent said they had been passed my details and they were calling about an accident I d had. Told him I hadn t and they should not have my details and to remove them from their lists and also told him that both numbers registered with TPS so will report them.
They call scammed People and promise them to be refunded, in fact they call themselves blockchain refund Department. But you have to transfer a percentage of the amount to a Bitcoin account, and from there they make it disappear in a moment. They can be very convincing, they are dangerous.
