Called into my office at a large corporate, asking for the husband of a former colleague who left the business 2 years ago.

I missed a call on my mobile from 01422315229. I called them back from my work phone (As it withholds my number) and the company would not give me their name, what they may have wanted, what they do as a company or how they got a number I ve only had for two days.

They re trying to sell you hold music and messages for your phone system. They claim they work with suppliers associated with your company and state they want to work on a big project with you and your supplier. I answered and did not speak for a few seconds, this caused them to hangup.

Called me saying they had information I had been in a car accident. I asked who had informed them and she disregarded my question to ask her own. I then stated that if she couldn t answer the question then we couldn t speak further, so she hung up. I hope she sleeps well at night knowing that her entire platform of employment is based upon being a nuisance.
