Dopey Indian scammer trying to tell me there is something wrong with my internet, running the same old short con of getting the innocent victim to type in random commands to show something is supposedly wrong. This wasn t a particularly bright one either as only knew one cmd command before giving up. I ve had them go on up to half an hour in the past. For the last 3 weeks I had 8 + calls a day from 01412786082 and the many other phone numbers shopping direct debt collection department use about a outstanding debt I have with them . Funny thing is the account they say is in arrears was paid via a direct debt payment plan and was cleared 3 months ago . Contacting the ICO tomorrow re this harassment .

Scam!! I had a call from this number where an automated voice told me that there was legal action being taken against my name for fraud and that a warrant was out for my arrest. It said to press one to hear more of the details but I looked the number up first. When I rang the number back, it was an automated voicemail entirely in Spanish (the original message was in English). Looks like a massive scam to me. This one could be dangerous to vulnerable people. Beware.

This appears to be a fax machine which has got my number and all I get is repeated attemps to send me a fax. This happens regularly as the fax is on auto send. Is it possible to tell the company?? They may need to reprogramme their machine to get the messages to the correct destination.

Be careful, I was called with an offer from ‘Currys Carphonewarehouse’ to reduce my mobile sim cost while upgrading the data and minutes allowance and the scammers already had a lot of my personal information including the monthly cost of my current sim plan. The dodgy email account they sent me a confirmation email from was [email protected]. They also called me on 07842778977, 07843577187 & 07848628655. Another landline number associated with the scammers is 02034042911.
