Just used Google enhanced search & it’s from China, telling me that they were my bank and that they’d stopped 2 payments from Amazon & an international company and I was to press my phone to acknowledge it. Obviously I didn’t! Checked directly with bank.

29 Apr 2021 - It's job finding services, if you have been referred to them by your jobcentre work coach. Freaked me out a bit when my phone flagged it as potential fraud but they had text me earlier in the day to say they were ringing from this number. Reply

Dopey Indian scammer trying to tell me there is something wrong with my internet, running the same old short con of getting the innocent victim to type in random commands to show something is supposedly wrong. This wasn t a particularly bright one either as only knew one cmd command before giving up. I ve had them go on up to half an hour in the past. This number is associated offering employment with Baker Hughes. The caller states that they are somebody from baker Hughes in Aberdeen and it is a legitimate person. However, the email that they use is fraudulent. Further the offer for employment is fraudulent. It is a very well organized social engineering fraud.

SCAM Called asking could I confirm if I had been involved in an accident (I hadn't). I asked not to call my number again, which resulted in further calls which I didn't answer. My number was illegally acquired from an ad which I had placed on the Gumtree website, so beware where you post your phone numbers to!
