They new only my first name
claiming to know I had an accident and am owed money. Nasty way to try and get business. Accidents are stressful enough and it s bad to make this stuff up.

got a call when I answered they hung up and when I returned the call the number does not respond or any dailing tones
No one on the other end when I answered I therefore hung up immediately

SCAM / SPAM SMS perports to be from PayPal and contains a link to a website so you can update your "user terms" to avoid suspension. This is entirely fraudulent, do not open the link as you can check directly with PayPal using your usual bookmark, they are attempting to phish for your login details and credit card information.

Said they were from BT and wanted to improve my router to increase my internet speed. Tried to get me to log on to anydesk.com, which is a remote access portal. I actually asked them if doing so would give them access to my computer and they said no. Beware!
i ve received a number of missed calls from this number. If I don t know the number, I don t answer it, on the basis if it s urgent/an actual call, they will leave a message. No message ever left.
Call was silent, once I spoke they hung up.

Came across convincingly, but had my doubts at certain times, said he was based in Portsmouth from a Bournemouth area code! Yeah right, barge pole and do not touchspringto mind, started getting upset after I wasted a good half hour of his time!
Sent a few weird texts to me work phone about meeting me and going to cinema. Very odd block and delete anything from this number
The caller location came up as Brecon, Wales. I didn't answer it. judging by previous comments I was right not to.
I rang this number back withholding my number and they identified themselves as speedy cash.

Got a call from this number I tried to explain we have terminally ill person in house and needed phone lines clear ( my father has cancer) they just laughed and put phone down. After calling a further 9 times in 3 hours I asked to speak to a manager who came to phone and proceeded to laugh through my explanation and put phone down. I then blocked the number so they rang a further 10 times from international withheld and either blasted sirens or just laughed down phone .

This is a scam. They are saying they are from BT, however the following is true (as I worked for BT for 36 years). 1 - BT do not ring you on a mobile number (unless and engineer has an appointment at your house that you know about). 2 - The phone is registered to Vodaphone, BT do not use any other networks for their own use. 3 - He could not give me my BT account number. 4 - He said he was from Millenium City London, this mobile number is located in Manchester! Repeated calls. Either put phone down on me without saying anything or on one occasion laughing then putting phone down. Rang number and it was not recognised.
Unsolicited call. I m TPS registered. They said they didnt know that. They also refused to tell me where they got my number - just another annoying lawbreaking firm.

Automated message allegedly from HMRC saying that I was going to be arrested shortly unless I pressed 1.
They rang me at 19.06 p.m.When I picked up they were said hello a few times as if they couldn t hear me. I was expecting a call from an unknown number but did not fall for the ring back ploy and came on here. From comments it looks shady so I will block it for future reference.

Called our TPS registered line. Burst of noise/music after we picked up, followed by silence then " Ello! Ow are yew?" from a caller who then immediately asked to speak to "The owner". Identified himself as "Zane" from "XLM" when asked, and then immediately launched into a scripted sales pitch. Told him to f***-off, and hung up while he was still yapping.
