Scammer with Indian accent claiming to be from Opus Energy, our electricity provider, asking us to confirm our MPAN number because of technical problems in our area and becoming aggressive, threatening to cut us off because we wanted the request in writing. Opus confirmed no such request has been made.

Sarcastic, rude salesman calls my home, unasked for, and then proceeds to make sarcastic comments when I explain I am not interested and try to terminate the call (e.g. ooooh, well done my love for trying to regain control of the situation ). I am going to see if I can carry this further through official channels. I object extremely to this rude, offensive person invading my day. SCAM - Missed the call and dialled back. Automated message confirms company name as Equifirst. Further investigation seems to suggest it is a scam online investment racket. There is a legitimate company with the same name selling horse feed, but they are not located in the UK nor have an 020 number. Avoid!
