SCAM This is a call from fraudsters based in West Bengal/Kolkata who intend to carrry out Authorised Push Payment Fraud, persuading the victim to transfer money to a bank account controlled by the scammers. It begins with a recorded message from "Bank Security" (they don't know who you bank with) saying there have been two unauthorised transactions on your card this morning. If you press 2 you will be put through to a scammer claiming to be from your bank (unspecified) or Visa - they will ask you

SPAM: I don't know anyone in OMAGH, N. Ireland. When I answered there seemed to be no one there, then a male voice said 'Hello?' - so I said 'Petunias?' and he put the phone down on me. (I never say 'Hello' or 'Yes' but say a word like 'Petunias' to confuse the caller. It seems to work!)
