This is my second call the first one I blocked, has as this one been, both calls from people "acting on behalf of diabetes UK" i didn t let the conversation last as I asked where my number was obtained from, the guy said a survey as that s how they get them I must have opted in, I know very well with all surveys I either don t complete or opt out of contact. I ve had a call from this number during the last year on several occasions, who rang off when my answer phone tripped in without actually leaving a message. At first I put it down to a miss-hit finger on a wrong key which can happen to anyone. But three times?Next time whoever calls I might decide to knock on their door (property photo listed which I recognise) to see why they keep calling? on 22 june the above number 0161 8735544 rang my son and said that an amount of ?1500.00 was waiting to be claimed fir whiplash for a accident he had in 2009 foulishly he gave them details including his mobile phone number and said they will ring him on monday 25th june to follow this up. I have rang this number as i suspected it was some sort of scam and what a surprise the number disconnects when u ring it.I would like to know how they got our landline number when we are ex directory and registered with
