Called saying they were from Vodaphine technical team checking on my service. They wanted me to do a speed test first on my laptop, then on my phone. As apperently they were currently working on the line and I was having issues... I'm not with Vodaphone. They eventually hung up.

SCAM called wanted to talk about my Virgin Media broadband which was about to be disconnected. When I told him that I don’t have service from Virgin Media and suspected a scam call he got abusive.

Attempting to call this number with 'No Caller ID' , I get "The number you have called is unrecognised", which in my mind sounds dubious.
Line went dead. Presumably a VOIP call from an Indian call centre checking on washing machine insurance - or worse!
