Fraud They call to advise that an arrest warrant has been issued in "Your" name for tax evasion, and invite you to press "1" for further info. A person with a strong Indian accent answers and in short they invite you to settle out of court. I suspect that the caller is not UK based but is using some relay of sorts to make calls appear to be UK based. Once you have them on the line, it is up to you whether to simply insult them or string them along for as long
I just received this pre-recorded voice message regarding PPI. It s absolute non-sense.

Bath Property Services. Contacted them and told them I have blocked their number but given them my e-mail if they really want to contact me

SCAM UK number, not in my contacts list, calling me from Russia. I don't know anyone in Russia, a country rife with scammers. Go figure
They rang me, I picked up and said hello and they hung up on me.
Tried the 'we need to check some transactions on your account' trick. Told him to 'go away'..... only thing is, the number appears to be a genuine one. Looks as though it may have been hijacked.
