Automated message. North American accent. purported to be from HMRC. Left number (probably premium rate!) to return call - or my solicitor. Consequence of not doing so would result in legal action. I await further contact! SCAM SCAM
Fraud This number is being used in an attempted fraud. I received a letter purporting to come from Lloyds Bank referring to a conversation that had not taken place and asking me to complete and sign a form giving details of my back account, sort code and memorable wo. The letter looks genuine, uses a genuine Lloyds address and gives this number to call with questions.
