"Microsoft" scam, claims she's from Microsoft and there's a problem with my computer and wants to take over my computer to put it right (she must of thought was born yesterday!) so played along with her for a few minutes before calling her a scammer and that there is nothing wrong with my computer. I got this call today and decided to look it up to find these comments. I never answer my mobile to numbers I Dont know, if it s important they will leave a answer message. Everyone should be doing the same, as once you answer they know you line is active, they will then sell you number to other company s. I used to get at least 7 a day from different numbers but now only recieve 1, most days I don t get any anymore.

Recorded message received today, 11 Oct. 2012. Started "Do not hang up" and claimed to be a Public Information message about a Government scheme to "write off 100 per cent of your debt" by next year. Already beneath contempt, this outfit is using a premium rate number (if I m not mistaken) - and as I am the first to mention this number on this site, we can all look forward to a lot more of it.
Very annoying and insisting number. It does not stop calling to sell something but they are rude and not very pleasant. It is rated as a waste of time.
