Getting constant e mail scam attempts They have the technology so why isn t the authorities doing more in terms of sentences for these scumbags and technology to stop this?!
Received text message from "Barclays" saying to ring the number above about a direct debit that has been set up for 1200 GBP, Instead I phoned my bank and they confirmed that this was a scam, no attempt had been made to set any direct debit up and to ignore the text and most definitely don't ring the number as you will more than likely receive a very high phone bill.
