Received a call from 01156772574, they claimed to be from Virgin media and offered a contract renewal for a Samsung S23 unlimited texts/mins and internet all for £25/month. Please whatever you do, do not give your financial details to these Indian scammers! They are using an IP phone network to impersonate Virgin media and try to obtain your account details and the long number on your credit/debit card! SCAM Third Chelmsford number blocked today. They hung up when I answered but upon dialling the number displayed, was met with automated message saying CB Brokers or CD Brokers. Suspect it's the same scumbags who have been scamming my elderly mother for a number of years by signing her up for appliance insurance for appliances she doesn't own. Asked me to confirm I had received the call by a voicemail message. I didn’t respond.
