A CHARITY ASKING FOR FINANCIAL SUPPORT WITH AN UNIDENTIFIABLE PHONE CODE
Phoned early today. I could barely understand what he was saying, but I gathered he was wanting information about my address. I hung up after saying I refused to give my details to a cold caller. The same number rang back after about two hours, but this time I didn't answer.
Caller claimed to be from BT support. Said there would be a 30 minute broadband outage next Tuesday. Asked me to log into supremocontrol.com which is a remote control system - presumably so they can install stuff on my machine. Played the daft laddie for as long as possible for fun!
