supposedly from my bank with suspicious activity - £300 odd from Amazon and £1100 odd from an overseas money transaction. Usual press 1 to agree or 2 to talk to agent. When 'agent' was asked who they were from just said the call was sent through to them and hung up.....need I say more...... potentially phishing

A guy with an Indian accent told me something about some crypto trading I supposedly did. I suspected a scam and hung up on him.
Automated voice call said "this is your bank calling. There have been two transactions on your account this morning, one from Amazon and one from ........ for £1000.00. ...As you have no previous transactions with these companies ...press 1 to cancel, or talk to us, or 2 to...." I did not press anything and hung up. This is appears to be a dangerous banking scam/fraud.

I just watched the scam baiters on YouTube and this is just what the scammers do. Do not fall for it. Contact the company yourself if you want to upgrade!

Like other reviews I received text message at 4.28am (very strange), supposedly from Apple stating: "We've noticed a transaction that seems unusual , therefore we've had to place a hold on your wallet features. I just got a call claiming (falsely) to be from this number, claiming (again falsely) that it was BT Openreach (or something). They addressed me by name and claimed that I requested a call back regarding financial services/trading. I'm a bit worried that they had my name and it seems that this was the only purpose of the call, to confirm the name pertaining to the mobile No. They hang up immediately.
