Said from TPS service and proceeded to try to get my bank details as proof of my phone number.
Got a call from this unknown Luton number today 10/12/15 picked up call but caller refused to say a word and then dropped call.
A woman with an accent who asked for me by my maiden name, she said she wanted to talk to me about offers. I hung up. Spam or possible fraud.

I am always a bit suspicious seeing such numbers... This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck. As people do search for this number, it should be used, so be aware.

Recorded voice talking about that there is a warrant out for my arrest due to tax evasion. This followed another call a few days prior from a different number claiming to be HMRC - another recorded voice telling me to press a button in order to speak to someone about my tax evasion and threatening with legal action/arrest if I didn't. Awful messages and probably quite frightening for someone elderly or vulnerable. Don't interact with the messages and block this number!

This number is used by Boku, a phone collection service (based in San Fransico, USA - with supposedly Europe wide offices) that collects "subscriptions" from, normally inadvertantly, "subscribing" to on-line adverts, messages and web sites. Boku send you a confirmation text, using this number, to tell you that you have just subscribed again. 01892 numbers have been calling me for the last week, constantly. If I block a number they call from a different one, if I reject the call the call back 5 or 6 times. No voicemail left
These people are a sort of contractor working for Orange/EE. But Orange/EE do not or will not recognize them. Do not take up any offers recomend, you will have trouble. They are not Orange/EE. Just say no and hang up. The delay in replying to you is due to the computer dialing the number.
Repeated nuisance calls
If you listen to the automated nonsense?or not,you usually get instruction on how to be removed from the list(usually #9?)&they re paying for the call! Hopefully no more calls(from this Co. at least!)? Hope this is of use to some?
Had call from this no and went to VM. Listened back to my voicemail and sounds like a call centre, a male is talking in a different language for 2 mins until he realises he has left me the voice message then hangs up. Be interesteing to hear what hes been saying....
