Recieved a missed call from this number, called back within seconds and the person who answered told me they were the only person in the house and had not made any calls.

Picked up phone , said nothing , promptly cut off . Suspect voice activated recorded message either scam or sales .
it s a company called Simply Financial and they are one of these Debt assistance companies. I finally got them to stop calling my number.

Someone called me on my mobile today , the number was 01144402083. I thought it was a Sheffield number to start with , but it needs 2 after the code . Don't know the compan...
Slightly concerned. This number called my partner's phone - it rang three times then stopped. Then it called my phone, range three times and stopped. Two hours later, called my partner's phone again. Rang until voice-mail kicked in and then didn't leave a message. Then same thing on my phone. Strange dialling pattern and lack of message suggests dubious activity to me.
Similar experience, I think forget this one unless you want covid proof double glazing or similar.
