They call leaving voicemails saying ‘this is not a marketing call, please call back’ I’ve also had texts asking to call back quoting the following reference number...which is different every time. And the name they use to address me via text spells both my first and last name wrong (not just one letter wrong, almost incoherently wrong!) so I will be blocking these obvious scammers!

This number is Equita, council enforcement for council tax, if they are phoning you it s probably because the council have sold the debt on to them, my advice, do not ignore!!
