HMRC Scam call threatening legal action and demanding a call back
Called numerous amounts a day never answered a call but others have and said they were selling the times or some had heavy breathing voicemails left

Said they were BT, I had too many people using my IP. The account name was wrong. They said they could block them from their server, but it would be better from my PC. After my challenges they sent a text message with a verification code. It said to change my password. I did. Had one previously, real BT support said it was a scam. Assumed this identical call was too. Only the false account name was a clue, otherwise how can you tell?
