As I don't have a BT line internet connection, I assume this was yet another scam. Why can't the line operators close these scam sites down or do they themselves make too much profit from the scam business?

Automated voice telling me my internet will be disconnected today by BT, they don't even supply my internet. So I pushed 1 to get their tech guy on the line and told him that they should stop bloody calling me and they don't supply my internet. I had at least 5 calls from them yesterday. The first today was at 8:15am, maybe they'll only call 6 times today. Not sure who is making any money from these scams if it is BT themselves then this is why nobody wants their crappy services.

Rang me twice today, and on previous occasions, I think. The moment I pick up, it s like the caller chose *that* moment to hang up, but that happens too often, with this and other numbers, to be a coincidence.
Had a text from “What’s app” claiming I had requested to transfer my number to another mobile device, and it would take effect in 24hrs if I didn’t call this number. Never made the request and research’s suggests this is a premium scammer number.
