I was called today, where the man said he was from Sky & said that they were looking to reduce our Sky protection payment they said we paid, due to the fact that we had been loyal customers for several years and as we hadn t made a claim, they wished to halve the yearly payment to ?50.00. He then promptly asked for my bank details to be able to amend the payments. As you can imagine I wasn t very obliging! Dodgy!!!
SCAM Very dangerous scam, acts as NHS staff, asking for Covid-19 symptoms, personal details, address, health conditions and finally life insurance, to pass this information to other company, who will sell you data to life insurance company knowing all you medical history you just told them over the phone. They are not from NHS, do not give them any information. Hang up and block the number.
Keep calling my mobile at least twice a day. First time they rang i answered they said i had a car accident. I told them it was immpossible as i havent been able to drive for 7 years. Told them to remove my number and they said they would. Pack of liars.93xo6
Received a call today from "Martin" who claimed to be from TPS, confirmed my phone number (which he rang to), my name and address and then asked me to confirm my expiry date for credit/debit card - when posed the question "why" he needed to know financial details for a free service, he suggested It was for verification purposes - I declined and asked from which company he was calling, at which point the phone went dead - SCUM!
