I have had several calls from a variant of this number - always 01782836.... then three more number so blocking doesn’t work. I have had ...846, 842, 829, 719 over the last three days. I know no one in Stoke on Trent and do not answer. No message is ever left. Very annoying.

Guy called Reiss had all my details wanted to send me forms to fill in on PPI that they were sure I was owed and didn't even know about it. I declined asked them to stop calling to take me off any lists I have prev blocked these calls. Very insistent said I must have had some dealing with bank , finance, insurance where I've been paying hidden charges and I would be stupid not to let them deal with it as it wouldn't cost me a penny???? Clicked on a side item in Facebook ( Sean Connery loss???) and message both textual and voice came up as message from Microsoft that my computer was infected with spyware and my bank account details could be stolen and to phone their toll free number immediately. I recognised immediately that it was not a tollfree number but a premium rate number and immediately shut down and restarted my p.c.
