SCAM / SPAM Automatic call at first claiming to be HMRC regarding a fraudulent claim and that you are about to be arrested. HMRC will NEVER call. They would send an official document through the post or email and ask you to go onto the official gov.uk website to create a paper trail. Just hang up, do not press 1 otherwise you will be scammed.

Reported to from BT saying I've suspicious activity on my internet line, when asked how can that be when I'm not on the internet at home they hang up.
this firm seems to be using different area codes, for repeated calls. also from 0191, 1061
This number rang me and i completed a business upgrade with 5 numbers. i supplied card details and so far so good a year on. Got all new iphones at the time
SPAM This number called me, asking me for between 20 to 30 seconds of my time to answer 3 questions. They pretend they’re doing a survey in my locality. They want to know my age, and whether I have life insurance, who my energy supplier is, & if I own or rent my home. I’m assuming that now my phone’s going to blow up because they’ll sell my information to people who are going to try and sell me things. I’m a patient person, and was taught good manners, but they REALLY know how to take advantage of
