SCAM / SPAM a foreign women answered refused to give her name.
Got a LOT of calls from this number but it turns out my letting agents had told Virgin Media we were moving and they were trying to contact us to sort that out! Was given a new customer deal again which knocked off £20 a month. The person I dealt with was really lovely too. TL:DR it's safe!
Automated pre-recorded voicemail plays when you pick up - saying they're going to suspend your NI number due to illegal suspicious activities recorded on it (not even now NI work or are for). It asks you to click through to speak to an officer assuming police but not clear. I hung up cause why would police call you about weird NI activities and why would they call thru this number and don't identify themselves from the start of the call in a none pre-recorded voice mail -_-

Claimed to be Amazon calling about a suspicious order. I will investigate.
PPI claims. Automated message at first then gives an option to speak to someone. They then claim your bank has sent a message saying you ve overpaid PPI. Must be a scam as I ve never had credit card, mortgage, hire purchase or any other loan and I don t think my bank even has my current phone number. Hung up on me when questioned.
