Trying to sell me Tax Assessment service. Bloody rude and suggested that I was dumb for not having a tax consultant look over my affairs. Explained that I was a Tax Inspector - they hung up.

Call centre Purportedly a survey seeking to know what make of TV owned. Allegedly calling from Leeds. Asian voiced caller with limited knowledge of English. Clearly up to no good!! Call terminated.
Hung up when I answered.

SCAM This was almost definitely a scam of some kind. The caller spoke with accented English in a location with a huge amount of background chatter. He claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse offering very low prices on iPhone, Samsung and Huawei mobile phones. I do not think it was actually Carphone warehouse, as I have never provided my details to them and I would expect they had a call centre environment that sounded a bit less like the outside of a busy London pub on a sunny evening.
