Male voice new my name and address, and the fact I had recently purchased a new washing machine from the Currys online. He told me my warranty had expired and offered to extend it for one year. The manufacturers warranty is two years. When I told him his information was incorrect and I had already taken out an extended warranty, he terminated the call abruptly. I suspect this was a scam. Question is: how did he know my personal details and the fact I had made this purchase? Is there a data security breach?
Kept calling even after I asked to be removed from their call list. They became very rude and telling me I should listen to them. They need to be reported
