So apparently they have tried to get in touch with me every day for the last fortnight to try to sell me PPI. Does anyone know how to block them or am i going to have to change my number?

Said they were calling from grant tutor and if did I have anyone in my family that needed tutoring. I couldn’t understand what the guy was saying so he passed me to someone else. They then asked if I was Muslim. I asked where they got my number from and they said from google call services. I told them to remove my number and not to call me. Very suspicious.

Just received a call from this number. I have had this before and I fell for it. He sounds like someone from an Indian call center except with fake background office ambiance. He will say your computer is at risk and is pinging their server and you need to do (X) in order to secure your computer. He will take you through a process that will seemingly prove to you that your computer has issues when im sure the stuff you fish out of your computer is normal. Automated system. Claims an outstanding HMRC warrent is in place. Instructed to press key 1 to continue. Instructed that a failure to respond will activate the warrent, leading to almost immediate arrest. Sounds like a nice little earner for someone during lockdown.
Fraud! Computer generated voice recording telling me my Amazon Prime ( which I will never have!!) would auto renew at 79.99. I hung up and blocked number.
