THis number has been calling my mobile, when I answered today they said they were calling about a competition I had entered and wanted to check the details I had put on the entry form were correct. I suggested that if I had filled in an entry form myself then they would be!! However they started to read them out and had several things wrong, including title, first name, and marital status. I told them that if I didn t recall entering and hung up.

I skyped back a couple of times to try to hear the company name with which they introduce themselves. They change it each time but it includes the phrase "computer security" after a garbled name. They no longer answer - just call centre sounds in the background. I don t think they like to receive repetetive silent calls. Isn t that sad?

Scammers. Just sent a letter, in addition to text, claiming court action for a vehicle not registered to us ever and supposedly in a car park in a town we have never been to. No doubt they will want all bank details! Ignore them.

Picked up the call late in the afternoon and asked for the company and mentioned that it was not legal for them to call me. I insisted to let my number get deleted - he forwarded me to the manager who said they were buying data packages. great. but he didn`t tell me where they are buying it from.

Indian scammers posing as BT tech support. Ask them for your address. If they really were from BT they would know it They will say your computer showed up on their server as being hacked. If that was really the case then why don't they have your address? Ask them for your IP address as the only way your "computer" could show up on a BT server is with an IP address (except BT don't monitor for this sort of thing and wouldn't phone you up about it). Frequent calls - no message ever left
Robocall saying if I hung up I would be arrested immediately. I pressed 1 as instructed hoping to have some fun with the scammers but after a few minutes of music on hold, the call terminated.
Said it was Master Card about £600 that had appeared on my account. Had similar before, it's always £600. Obviously It's a scam so did not listen further and put phone down and blocked any further calls. Number shows up as coming from Bathgate.
