Asian female reportedly from "Windows Tech Support" called to tell me that that they had received numerous error messages from my computer and that she was there to help. Ran off a load of numbers and letter supposedly from my computer licence and when asked to repeat it the numbers and letters did not match. When asked to supply I.P. address hung up. "Windows Tech Support" would never ring. Total scam.

Yesterday and today I was called from 01761453627. I immediately recognised the code and first two digits of the second part of the number because I used to live in a village with the same code, 01761, followed by 45; the same as our old landline. The caller said he was ringing from BT's "unwanted call blocking service".
