Another false Amazon £1049.00 Con wanting me to go on-line to activate a cancellation. Don t bother with them.
SCAM - nuisance calls from India looking like they're coming from Leeds. TPS can't stop them so all you can do is block them. Called well before 8am so you just know it's going to be a scam call.

Fraud scam. Scam insurance crash call. The call operator was obviously very new at this. Fumbled and stumbled his way through the script in barely understandable “Hind-lish”. I stopped him and told him he was really terrible at this game, should stop now, he’s not cut out to be another sh*tty scammer. Told him his parents would be ashamed of him. He apologised and cut the call.

Potential Scam or Fraud. Rings, then upon picking up they hang up assumingly they believe you will call them back, which would probably incur a massive charge of sorts.

The number 01736 735261 called me about 10.30am 28/06/23 and it was a recorded message from an International Banking service stating I had made a payment of £300 to Amazon and £1100 to another provider. Told me to press 1 if correct and 2 to speak with an adviser. Pressed 2 and answered by "This is Officer Stephen, how can I help". When I asked which organisation he represented the phone went dead.

This is a very clever scam number, given on a letterhead purporting to be from post office money about being overdrawn on a PO travel money card. Don't action!!!!!

They phoned me to say they were Microsoft Specials. Told me my PC had a fault - possibly Virus Infected - and first tried to access my PC via Teamviewer. This did not work so i was told to visit www.ammyy.com. Here they did gain access and I sat back to watch the mouse pointer open and close multiple files etc. Much file info was Transfered and after sometime they phoned again to ask if the PC now worked faster,,,,Answer was, "NO". Initial call rec d from this number which was silent. Then bombarded with with grossly offensive sexual texts. Own enq s so far indicate that the number is on the 02 network and is a pay as you go number. Other enq s in hand to identify subscriber.
