Usual SCAM - this time looking like a local phone no - they're getting sneakier! Same old Automated Scam message - Amazon & International Money Transfer (aye, aye..,heard this **** for years). SCAM - twice had calls from this number with a recorded message saying I had been charged £79.99 by Amazon for Amazon Prime Services - hung up and contacted Amazon - call is not from them.
Call center said they were dangers on my life insurance. When I said I was at work which I was and couldn’t talk they put the phone down on me.

This landline rang us this morning with a recorded message trying to tell us our Amazon account had been hacked. Obviously ignore as all our accounts are in order. Clearly a scammer, more worrying that it is on a local landline!

I was trying to activate a phone on my company network and after working with Verizon and the phone started initializing it came up with this phone number which is 1/2 way around the world for Bribane. Verizon still working on figuring it out. Not sure how this phone number was hijacked to a phone number so far away from my location and mysteriously changed numbers. The phone number on the account has been on my account for 25 years now.
Fraud Called pretending to be instructed by an United Kingdom Insurance Limited. He spoke very convincingly and was stubborn that the call was "not out of the blue" that he was instructed to call me because they had to transfer funds to me in relation to driving accident that was not my fault. A voice said he was James from Relief Energy who said; "I've been trying to call you for a few days now, actually." Well, nobody has been trying to call me when I was at home, and as I check my phone whenever I've been out, then I know for sure that it's nonsense so I just hung up. I received an unsolicited call from this number. The caller claimed to be selling stock shares/investment opportunities. The caller would not accept my no as an answer. I politely concluded the call and h8ng up. I cannot say that it is a scam but I have now blocked this number.
