This number calls several times. Each time you answer it hangs up, if you don't answer no message is left. If the number was genuine it would leave an answer so I believe it's a fake call.
We had been tormented by this number for months calling 3 - 4 times a day. Have now bought a BT 8500 call blocking phone which is fantastic. Feel in control again.

Fraud. I got a recorded message in an American accent saying that a criminal case has been filed against me for tax evasion. I think I am probably stupid enough to accept this and panic, but I don't believe it and burst out laughing. I think the accent tipped me of 'cause the patter was quite believable(NOT!).
