Left a text message on my mobile phone claiming they want me to give them my number so they can ring me back regarding a personal accident claim and how much I am entitled to. Except I don t have a personal accident claim. Obviously some kind of phishing text.
After applying for a loan this company rang me multiple times a day i asked them to call me back after 6pm the first time as i was working and did want to see if they could help me but the I had 7 calls off the in 3 hours NOT one after the time I said I could answer, the following day the same company different number rang me 13 times between 10 am and 4:30 pm so i blocked those numbers, the following day i had a further 14 missed calls from this company off another 5 numbers. So far I am I up to 14 number

Caller claimed to be able to send me a blocker to protect me from unwanted calls for fee of ?8.99 per month or an payment of ?80 for a year! I used my phone s in-built blocker by pressing the button on the keypad!
SCAM Asked if over 50 and used a walking stick. Told me I was entitled to free medical alert pendant. Unable to say who gave him my phone number. I hung up.
I know it was the Bank of Scotland as they were calling me about a specific query on my account, I had emailed them yesterday.... no cold calling, no upselling of products. just customer service.

Phone asking to speak to Mr ... (he had the correct surname) about a car accident Mr ... had had. When I asked which Mr ... (me or one of my sons) he said he would have to check with the insurance co and hung up. Things to note: None of the Mr ... on this number have had a car accident.
