Automated call this call was a recorded message saying about bank security and that transactions have taken place if its not the case to press either 1 or 2. I've had so many of these and know it's a scam. My elderly brother went all the way through to speak to someone and realised at the last minute it was a scam so put the phone down but it worried him so much he rang his bank to make sure everything was alright. I got a call from this number saying they were amazon and someone had purchase a £300 phone on my account. When I told him to cancel it he asked me to log on to my playstore account. When I said to him it was a scam and that I was not stupid he swore at me and ended the call

Scam Number... When answered, you hear the "hiccup" meaning you were on an Autodialer and because you've answered, the "hiccup" sound is where the computer is connecting a scam agent. Personally, any call I hear that sound, I hang up, search the number and 9 out of 10 times (9/10) end up Barring the Number. Hope this helps.
