Rang late evening. Crewe number. Said from Brickhouse Earth - sounds like a scam

Caller asked for Mrs Mitchell, not my name, and then hung up when I said I was not her.

phoned a couple of times this week and when I answer they say goodbye and hang up Cannot anything been done about these unwanted calls

Automated message said was Amazon and about a payment - scam

Sent email to ideal world asking for the calls too stop. They said it would. No such luck!!!

Had several calls that I let ring out. Only answered so they d stop calling. Guy, said he was a representative of EE offering me deals. Lot of noise in the background, he got interrupted by something chiming very loudly. Listened to his spiel and politely explained I wasn t interested and took it well, until I mentioned that I couldn t afford one of the products he was offering that I was actually interested in and he rather rudely told me I should get a better paid job. Some idiots calling me - surely companies should be banned from this ridiculous practice. No point telling them to remove my name from your records , they don t hold records! They just buy a load of phone numbers and go through them til some mug gives them money.

I don't know for sure as I'm basing my suspicions on information for another almost identical number, which would be a scam posing as an accident claim company.

I m the MD that one person above is keen to tell everyone about. We identify our phone line (an 01422 number) and my mobile is also clear for all on our company website. I do this as we have nothing to hide. We operate strictly by the Market Research Society guidelines. I received a call approx 7 pm, and the man on the phones accent was very hard to understand, however i did try as he stated he needed 3 seconds of my time, NO LONGER, then proceeded to ask me a whole lot of questions i felt absolutely led to nowhere, like, the brand of my tv, my current relationship status, did i work, was i insured, who my power provider was my phone provider which contract phone i was with, but always said, after me asking "can you say that again please" he then said i has a chance of 4 l
