Telephone call claiming to be form the Visa Mastercard security line allowing me to select option 1 to cancel 2 attempted transactions this morning. One for £600 and the other for £900. Scam.

You are then played a recorded message that is designed to keep you on the line as the call is charged at over a £1 per minute. So you end up paying for the scam and your phone company probably won't help as you made the call willingly.

I didn't answer this number, as I do not know it, I don't know anyone in London. It rang my mobile number, but never left a message , even though the answering machine kicked in. The map was not clear enough for me to see what part of London the call came from

Scam number pretending to be Tesco Mobile - Text sent seeking bank account details because "your bundle will be cancelled as we could not verify a payment method".
Fraud - I think. A male with I think and Asian accent called from this number. He asked for me by name and said he was calling from Microsoft then asked if I was the main user of the computer in my hone. I asked "Which Computer is that then?" and he hung up. Another number check site has lots of people checking this number and it appears to be from various different places so I think it must be an attempt to access a persons computer or something like that.

Scam caller, states they are O2 offering me a discount on the services I have with them (I'm not even with O2). When questioned about how they got my number, became very hostile and rude. The line was also very poor, kept crackling.

Automated call supposed to be from Amazon prime saying they have taken £79.99 (American accent) and to press 1 to speak to an executive. I haven't even got an amazon account my husband has and they haven't got my mobile number.

Fraud Pretended to be from Amazon, said there was a hacker in my system and wanted to have access to it to help sort it out. Refused, got aggressive when I said if he was from Amazon he should send an email to me from the email address held by Amazon.
Called and hung up straight away before I could answer. Think it's a scam caller as I don't know anyone in Edinburgh.

Received a call from this number stating that its visa card fraud prevention. Lady asked if i want to authorize or cancel Amazon purchase of a gift card £300.00 She asked about BOB and Full name but when I asked to give me my name she said that she approves the purchase because i refused to give my name and hanged up. 02394352782 called 25 Apr 23 at 14:34 hrs, caller did not leave message. 02394352784 called 26 Apr 23 at 08:32 hrs. called wanted to talk loft insulation, recognized voice and accent, asked her please not to call again as I am fully insulated and boarded as I was last time you called.

This number called me but left no message when I ignored it.
A male caller with a very strong Asian calling about home appliance insurance renewal. When questioned as to which appliances he was talking about, he mentioned appliances I do not have on Insurance cover.

May have mentioned UPS which co-incidentally I've been receiving scam emails recently purporting to be from them about an outstanding delivery which I can categorically state I am NOT awaiting. Indian woman called Jessie from Housing Disrepair Association. Told me I'd been reported as having damp in the home. Asked her what country she was calling from and what location which she wouldn't answer, she then wanted to know if I was a private or social tennant. Told her I knew she was a scammer, at which point she hung up.
