Pretended to be Virgin Media and asked to confirm my personal details. I politely declined

Received a call from this number this morning, i let it go to answering machine ( landline) and no message was left, then called beeped & ended. Very suspicious call I felt.
Could UK government please make a change in the Constitution that forbid these kind of calls - that tell them to fuck off and burn in hell. This is terrorism and huge waste of recourses, and that is a crime by its self.

I used him to check if my info actually was leaked and then I rejected the transaction and cancelled my card lol. Pretty funny call, although dangerous to those who aren’t very IT literate. This came through as an email saying there was a picture message forwarded by 02 which I did not open

Claimed to be from Vodafone. Said a SIM swap had been requested and wanted to check this was correct. I said it was not correct. He then said he suspected my account had been hacked and that he would sent an SMS with a code which I had to read to him. The SMS came from Vodafone and had a code with text reading 'this code gives access to your account, do not share it'. The caller was a scammer and wanted access to my account. I hung up.
