Someone with a strong Indian accent calling himself Francis called early in the morning wanting to conduct a survey. He hung up without apology when I mentioned I was registered with TPS. Report these telepests to ICO.

Really nasty, threatening scam from this number. The message said HMRC had a tax fraud case listed against my name and I should press 1 to connect to the HMRC investigating officer to discuss the case. It then went on to say that if I didn't I would be arrested for tax fraud - I knew it was not true but some people could be really scared and stressed by this horrible scam.

Claimed to be Amazon. It’s the iPhone 11, 12, 13 scam. Order on hold due to suspicious activity. £1400. Told him I was logged into my Amazon account and there was no suspicious order. I asked him if he was sure he was from Amazon and not Orinoco, Congo, Limpopo or some other river. But he didn’t seem to see the joke.
This number has called three times it won’t leave a message I don’t know the number ,so not sure what they want

These calls have gone silent now but I know it is a Telemarketer on behalf of CR Smith. Lost track of the number of times I have told them all our windows/doors are done and I don t want a conservatory as we have an extension.Also told them they should not be calling as registered with TPS but makes no difference.

They phoned me saying they were from BT and trying to stop marketing calls (Like a kind of international Telephone Preference Service) and tried to get get my card details out of me. They read out my name and address to me then asked for the expiration date on my debit card so they could "verify" my details. I gave them a false one. An automated message told me a warrent for my arrest would go out immediately if I did not answer the call by pressing one. The man told me he was from hmrc, asking if I was employed or self employed. He then said, after asking for my name, the call was made to the wrong person on the wrong number and hung up on me!
