Caller said he was Virgin Media Technical Department and believed I was having trouble with my internet speed. He wanted me to do a speed test but when I said that I couldn't do that he disconnected. I've been with Virgin for many years and they've never phoned me in the past. As far as I'm aware, Virgin never phone customers when there's any problem so I'm rating this call as dangerous.

Left a message saying they are from the Chinese Embassy and then rest of voice message is in Chinese. I receive at least one call a day from different mobile numbers illegally from the Chinese Embassy.

A very similar number , 7342 225631, texted me pretending to be one of my children, saying that they had broken their phone and had to borrow a friend's. Asked me to WhatsApp them on this number.
My mobile automatically detects potential fraud calls and if proved it will then report the call automatically as a fraudulent call. I have received several potential fraudulent calls but can’t recall if they are from the same person/company. Take care folks..

This number along with 50 other numbers starting 020 have been giving me nuisance call repeatedly trying to sell me magazines and other things which im not interested in and its gotten to the point that i have to block the numbers every time they call me from a new one because the calls are so persistant and frequent i cant get a break for even q minute if i dont block them all qs i recieve the call from each new number

appears to be scam. supposedlyftom london fraud office notifying me of somebody using my bank card. when questioned, did not know my bank or how mich was taken.
Got a call claiming to be from BT Openreach saying our IP Status had been changed from Private to Public and our internet was going to be cut off. It was a very poor quality line in a foreign call center. They weren't able to give me any other details so I ended the call.

Suspect it's Cognism or similar checking they have the correct mobile numbers for contacts they're selling. Ask for you by first name, then when you say it's you, they say a random surname and then claim they must have a wrong number.
Received an email from ' PAYPAL' about a fruadulent activity of £899.99 I contacted the above number and they sent me a 6 digit security number to my mobile and also told me my last 4 digits on my card !!! All seemed very legit..........UNTIL he told me he needed my full card number to put a stop on a further 12 transactions !!! I rejected his request which he seemed to start getting annoyed and agitated !! THIS SEEMS A VERY PROFESSIONAL SCAM DO NOT REPLY TO THEM .

Call starts by automated voice thanking me for the purchase of an Iphone for over £700.00 via amazon and then telling you its coming soon and if you did not make the purchase to enter details. Fraud: 09011490180 has been billed by Virgin Media as 3 outgoing calls from my Landline but my wife and I have not made these calls. The calls were apparently made on the 18th of April at 11.03, 11.18 and 11.40 with each call lasting exactly 11.06 minutes costing 35 pounds each. So far Virgin Media have refused to investigate these calls and demand payment. It is obviously some king of scam, which should be highlighted as soon as possible and safeguards put in place!
