Silent call. Received a call from (07458 148209) on my mobile, although very few people know my mobile number. When I managed to answer there was nothing to be heard from the caller's end so I assumed it was some dodgy scammer. Someone on another site like this reported the caller to be an annoying or aggressive salesman from "Go-Assist" - this makes sense as I'd contacted them online about repairing a household appliance, decided their prices were far too high and deleted all their emails. someone rang my mobile from 07776 458280 and when i answered there was silence - no one spoke. I did not recognise the number as it was not in my contacts!
This came up on the phone display as a name/number in my contacts list. Then an Indian voice spoke and told me I was a valued customer and drivelled on in broken dialogue. I put phone down on him. 1471 told me it was this number and the call has appeared in my WhatApp.

Indian caller said he was from the Department of Health and asked to speak to a certain person when told it was the wrong person he confirmed the number and asked who he was speaking to as I was suspicious of a scam it told him it didn’t matter as I was not the person he wanted then hung up

Bogus caller purporting to be from amazon, used my name which I confirmed and he asked for confirmation that I had ordered a new i-Phone 12 which I had not. This is just a bluff/smokescreen to raise anxiety and alarm. Caller asked how I usually access Amazon and requested that I login to my account. My curiosity about the call stopped here. I told the caller that I did not trust the call and hung up. To confirm, there has been no Amazon activity on my account. The caller simply wanted me to open it.
