As with most other comments, single ring then hung up. Did not call back. Weird thing was, this call came in on my company mobile, the number for which is only given out to colleagues and a few family members. I ve never used it to sign up for anything so no idea how they got it. Assume auto dialler?

They called me repeatedly and at some point i just answered and although I didn t really understood what they wanted, they started asking for my personal information. At that point I clearly told them that I m not gonna reveal any of it. They hung up. Better for them

When I first answered phone, extremely loud background noise (sounded like a railway station). Indian accented mail asked for Mrs ***. When I asked what it was about he said it was about my internet connection. I started to tell him I had no problems with my internet connection, but he hung up before I finished the sentence! Knew he was rumbled I suspect.

This phone number keeps calling me so I have now blocked it. It comes up as from Romford but nobody answers!

This is the UK version of a scam running amok in the US. The supposed company, microsoftechs.com, contacts people and claims there is an issue with their computer. The claim to be partnered with Microsoft and gain confidence with all the classic scam talk. If you do get scammed, they will access your computer via remote access, go through your email, install software and who knows what else. They asked for my wife - using her maiden name and we ve been married for 11 years, where do they get their info from?! Apparently 01234 339 numbers are allocated to BT, who in turn have sublet them to rogue operators like this. Anyroad: add this no. to your blocklist.
