Alarm bells are ringing ... what an amateur setup. Call leads to a lesser used number from a geographical location (Bolton). Calls blocked. NB: Don't be the 'one' who accepts this, ask questions, no sales & marketing company (legit or not) will make calls like this, question EVERYTHING you have been WARNED! don't do it be vigilant.

Call center Was a very persistent man who spoke so quickly I couldn't understan who he said he worked for (even after I asked him to repeat himself more slowly ) saying he could save me money on my phone mobile phone and constantly asked how much I was paying. Told him I wasn't interested and he continued to ask the same thing. Not told him if I wanted to do something about my phone and bills I would so so myself and he still continued. I eventually hung up on him when he was still asking for how much.

It’s a scam! Told me they had noticed an unusual amount for £1100.00 had been taken from my account. Scam call, allegedly from VISA - I haven't even got a VISA card! Claims my card (the one I haven't got) was used for a large spend on Amazon (it's always Amazon, isn't it?). Funny how this is from the same dialling code as mine (01454) so obviously area-targetting, and trying to make it look genuine, like as if it's from a local bank.

I am suspicious of this number because after receiving a possible ?phishing call I made a 1471 call to discover the number the call came from I was given this number, which I rang. It was answered by a man who told me he was in Kent and i told him why I had called his number but nothing else(my name or location) i suggested he should look into how this could have happened and that his line might be compromised somehow.
