this number is for a ulez payment but is a con i paid a charge of £17.50 and is on my bank statement as ULEZSERVICE but my ulez charge has not been paid on the receipt is this number every time i call picked up and cut of never have i spoken to any one i would never have known unless i called tfl and asked why they took £17.50 instead of £12.50 where i now have a £80.00 charge so this scam has cost me almost £100.00

The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based. SCAM Woman with strong foreign accent claimed to be from 'BT technical department' (immediately obvious not genuine) and said they had received notifications that my internet was being used by others fraudulently. Pointed out BT not my provider which she ignored, she then tried to guess some letters from my email to 'send me a verification' and when I said that wasn't my email, accused me of lying!!!! Presumably hoping I'd supply my actual email.

Recieved a call from this number sounded like a call centre, I am in Australia, knew my name would not tell me how she was and were she was from, wanted me to confirm my name I just not me when she asked if I was XXXX, then she hung up.

Telephone number - 01264355257. This number rang me saying my card had been charged for £600 on Amazon and Western union for £300. I hang up without making any selections as suggested by the caller.

Received a call from this number stating that its visa card fraud prevention. Lady asked if i want to authorize or cancel Amazon purchase of a gift card £300.00 She asked about BOB and Full name but when I asked to give me my name she said that she approves the purchase because i refused to give my name and hanged up. SCAM - Unsolicited phone call from a number I didn't recognise. Answered but didn't speak and heard only silence. After five seconds the call hung up so no doubt an automated system that waits to hear someone's voice. Without a doubt a scam.

Claimed to be from Vodafone, offering a 40% discount on my monthly bill, before proceeding to ask me what my monthly bill was. I hung up. Clearly a scam, which sounds like it's coming from India.

A SCAM!!! A guy called "Richard" presented himself as someone working for the "gradjobsuk" website and he interviewed me for a job (that I dont even remember ever applying for) and tried to persuade me to buy a course towards a qualification. The whole website is a scam, their jobs are made up and all they do is make graduates buy courses and then stop calling them. Its a total scam, just hang up and dont trust them!

Fraud told me the £900 had been taken from my visa. On checking my account nothing taken. Bank now has phone details.

They claimed to be BT but never gave a caller name and had identified potential security issues with my BT Internet. Sent me a code number to "prove" they were genuine but it didn't feel right and when I said I thought they were scammers, caller became a bit aggressive.
