I found in my letter box a brochure advertising for "Free totally unlimited broadband" from TalkTalk! Phoned today at12.15 pm. Fairly gruff voice. Purportedly from BT. Asked me to confirm that I had been in touch with BT this morning. As I had, I said yes. There was some hesitation and a lot of background noise. I asked what he wanted. He asked if contact was by phone or mail (I think). I replied that the contact was on the internet and he abruptly ended the call.

Just had to blick this number. This number calls persistently and has become too intrusive, interrupting at inconvenient times. I don t know the number. I answered it just once but there was only a very short recording with a woman s voice, so brief I was unable to even catch what she was saying.

The number belongs to Mediamatch which trades under the name claims inclusive based in bristol web address http://www.claimsinclusive.co.uk/complaints.html Took a little time to track down, they claim they have not had any reports of this problem!

Marc called, wanted to know who is in charge of the energy bills, said he was from a company about comparing energy prices. Told him we ve done it all already through U-switch and asked him to remove our number from the database. It remains to be seen if we called by them again.

I once answered the phone and asked who is it and they automatically cut off. I find it strange how this is becoming the norm all of a sudden. SCAM - Automated voice said they were from a government agency and that my National Insurance number had been mixed up in some illegal incidents. It then said something about having to get back to them quickly. At this point I hung up obviously a scam.
