They just called me on my mobile. I picked up but they hung up. I called back (14.39) and got a recorded msg (female, Scottish) saying their offices were now closed and advising...

I don t answer numbers I don t know but they have rung me 3 times in 3 days.

Filled in a form on line for number of nuisance calls I received they replied said they would ring and number would begin 02921 so I new I could answer it. They advised me I was on numerous cold call lists I new this ad I get dozens of calls per day. Asked foir a fee of ?49.99 to remove me from all of these lists. I do hope I have not been conned ad I m a pensioner and cannot afford to be loosing this sort of money.

The number as reported has only 10 digits, it needs 11 to be valid. Some Santander numbers do start 05511 so in principle it s probably genuine, except too short.

Life insurance fake call pretending there has been a change in the law so you need a new policy.

A girl called me from 01792764700 first. Then passed me onto 01792764700. I told them I have doubt about the call because the girl got my union number wrong by 1 digit and I said I would call them in the office instead. They haven t called me since a week ago. I call the first number, there was no ring tone. The second number did put me thro to an operator but I hung up. I find it a bit suspicious as they claimed to be calling on behalf of the union Unite. It s PetPlan, who are clearly the most unreliable and untrustworthy company to do business with. Aggressive telemarketing, with three to four calls a day. The only sensible thing to do is to block them from coming through.

This is the second message I have received from this number. Call centre type nasal voice. Holley Hartley, stated this call was on behalf of our client requesting an immediate call back, important and that it was not a sales call. I have not responded.

This debt collection agency uses auto diallers to harass people. My advice, when you see the number displayed, is either divert it answer phone - they will not leave a message, or accept the call but don t speak and immediately hang up, that way they pay for the call but get absolutely nowhere.

Stated they are calling to carry out a survey. Stated they got my number from one of their partner companies . Gave a list that included o2 amongst about 7 others. Basically fishing for info/interest to see if they can pass your details on to other companies - virgin, british gas, sky etc.
